Bushland Medical Expeditions Co. Ltd (BME) is a medical service provision company. It was created to solve a challenge of difficult accessibility in medical health services in remote areas, especially in national parks and game reserves in Tanzania.
The company operates as a mobile clinic in the bush by having multiple vehicles well equipped with all the medical facilities and a medic onboard. These are stationed in a known location in which the majority of the Hotels and camps can be easily accessed.
There is an emergency call center number which is available 24 hours in addition to a unique radio-call number for coordination of pre hospital care procedures, air and ground ambulance transport and
communication with intensive care and emergency room staff of hospitals.
